And now a little Toy Story history.  The original Toy Story movie came out in 1995.  In this movie Woody first meets Buzz Lightyear and he is very jealous of him when he quickly becomes the top toy in the toy room.  Woody trys to get rid of Buzz Lightyear and in the process both toys end up getting lost.

Toy Story 2 came out in 1999.   Woody gets stolen by a toy collector while Andy is away at summer camp.  The adventure begins when Buzz and the gang set out on a rescue mission to save Woody.

Toy Story 3 came out in the summer of 2010.  This is my favorite Toy Story movie so far!  And of course, I also got to watch it in 3D, which made it even that much better!  In this 3rd movie, Andy is headed off to college and he is getting rid of his toys, all except Woody, whom he is taking with him.  The rest of the toys end up in a daycare which is run by an evil bear.  The toys are on a mission to escape the daycare and reunite with Woody and Andy.

I love how Disney can capture the attention of both children and adults in their movies.  This makes it such an enjoyable experience to go to the movie theater because everyone can enjoy the movie.  My kids love cowgirls and cowboys so their favorite characters are, of course, Woody and Jessie.  My daughter has the Toy Story Jessie doll and she really enjoys playing with it and recreating scenes from the Toy Story movies.  She is really looking forward to dressing up in a Jessie Halloween Costume this year.
